Tough trip to the orthodontist today. It's time to deal with some of the damage Emily has done by sucking her thumb. In a couple of weeks, we'll need to come back and have this type of appliance put in. It's a bonded extender that will slowly reshape her jaw. She'll also get braces on her front teeth to guide the adult teeth into place. Poor thing.
