For no good reason, we cracked open a bottle of champagne tonight. I wanted to get a picture for Lara. The addition of the sword was all Brian.

- A couple of friends did this type of blog last year, and it was such a great idea, I thought I'd give it a try myself. The idea is to post one picture each day for the year, from formal portraits to everyday activities. I'm not a big picture taker most of the time. I'm hoping this will remind me to capture a little more of our lives and what we are up to day to day.
